Boy Program, Ages 7+

Our Boys Program provides specialized classical ballet training designed to build strength, flexibility, coordination, athleticism, and confidence. Whether your student is interested in pursuing dance, musical theater, competitive sports, gymnastics, or simply wants to stay active, dance training develops skills that benefit a wide range of athletic and artistic pursuits. Ballet classes are taught in an all-male environment, while all non-ballet classes are co-ed.

Power Move: A Boys' Movement Class

Instructor: Daet Rodriguez

Classes: Thurs 4:15-5:00pm​

Designed specifically for boys ages 7–10, Power Move is a high-energy movement class led by The Georgia Ballet's Artistic Director, Daet Rodriguez. This 45-minute class combines athletic training with the fundamentals of dance to build strength, coordination, agility, flexibility, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Through exciting jumps, turns, footwork, balance exercises, and dynamic movement combinations, students will discover the athleticism behind dance while improving skills that benefit all sports and physical activities. No prior dance experience is required—just a willingness to move, learn, and have fun. Whether your child is interested in dance, athletics, or simply staying active, Power Move offers a unique opportunity to train with a professional artistic director while developing strength, discipline, and confidence through movement. Class Attire: Black athletic shorts, white T-shirt, white socks, and white ballet shoes.

Boys Strength & Power

Instructor: Tuesdays with Daet Rodriguez, Fridays with Malachi Aldridge

Classes: Tues Ballet 5:30-7:00 pm, Fri Pas 7:00-7:30, Fri Ballet 7:30-8:30pm

Designed for boys ages 8–18 in our Recreational and Pre-Professional Programs, this class focuses on developing proper male ballet technique, strength, coordination, musicality, and performance skills. Students will work on male-specific technical elements, ballet vocabulary, barre and center combinations, and classical variations in a structured and supportive environment.
